2. Types of metal packaging

• pressure packaging and special packaging;

• capping systems.

Aerosol dispensers and box pallets, on the other hand, are described in specialized articles in this treatise. The latter can be used (notably in the automotive industry) for factory-to-factory transport.

Metal crates are also used for transport. They can be welded, double-stapled or, sometimes, riveted. The strength of the sheet metal used and the manufacturing process depend on the capacity of the crate and its intended use.
