12. Conclusion

An analysis of the indicators, ratios and figures presented in this report enables us to :

• detect deviations that could be detrimental to the company;

• judge whether overall maintenance performance is acceptable, and whether far-reaching organizational reform is required.

In order to be able to draw up a progress action program that is relevant and adapted to needs, it is then necessary to analyze the following aspects in greater depth:

• structure, task allocation and staffing ;

• staff training, qualification and motivation ;

• relations between Maintenance and other company functions (Production, Purchasing, Investments, etc.);
