5. Conclusion

This methodological approach was defined on the basis of the company's repository of processes, methods and tools. The aim was to be able, right from the product design phase, to make a rational and tangible assessment of the hazards that could affect a maintenance operator.

The deployment of this AROM-certified method has been the subject of several evaluation phases within the company on several practical cases, as well as its application to the development of new products or systems.

The results obtained by using the AROM method have enabled us to optimize design solutions through gains linked to maintainability recommendations, and to generate significant maintenance cost optimizations, to the full satisfaction of our customers, while respecting the safety of maintenance operators.
