 INTRODUCTION

Poly(styrene/butadiene/acrylonitrile), more commonly known as ABS, is a family of copolymers for "technical" uses, thanks to their high physical and chemical properties: rigidity, impact resistance, heat resistance, surface appearance, resistance to numerous chemical agents.

They were first produced and marketed by Uniroyal in 1948.

They are currently used in a wide range of applications, including automotive manufacturing, household appliances, office and garden equipment, sports and leisure equipment, toys...
