1.1 Definitions
Honeycomb materials are made up of a polymer backbone surrounding honeycomb cells, either closed or partially or totally open to neighboring cells or to the outside world.
The following definitions, taken from AFNOR and ISO standards or established by usage, will enable non-specialists to interpret technical or commercial documents correctly and express their requirements to specialists.
