1. Multi-material and multi-colour injection moulding

1.1 Principle and applications

These two technologies (figure 1 ) enable several polymers (or the same polymer, but in several colors) to be injected successively or simultaneously to produce a complex part. The first module injected constitutes the insert, with subsequent modules forming the overmold (figure 2 ).
