6. Conclusion

Over the last five years, profound technical and economic upheavals have given rise to a new dynamic in standardization (increased production of standards, modification of content to take account of the new sectors of application concerned, etc.). In addition to the technical aspect, the social and legal impact of EN standards, in particular, makes them a strategic and political issue for all partners. This evolution of the standard and its application has led to the inclusion of new players and changes in the behavior of more traditional players.

In the field of plastics, plasturgy and reinforcements, French companies play a key role in the development of standards (ISO and CEN), thanks to their skills, their ability to supply experts and the know-how of these experts.
