4.1 The benefits of polybismaleimides

Like all high-performance polymer materials, polybismaleimide end products have technical advantages over metals, which they can advantageously replace in certain applications. These include:

• a lighter part, since the density of composite material is always lower than that of metal;

• thermal and electrical insulation for enhanced user safety;

• soundproofing ;
