4. Applications

  • The diversity of their formulations and the wide range of resulting thermomechanical properties mean that modified EPPs find applications in fields such as the automotive, electrical, electronics and office automation industries.

  • The wide range of applications for polyarylene sulfones is due to their excellent thermomechanical strength, fire resistance, dielectric properties and transparency. However, of these three polymers, PSU is inferior in performance to PES and PAE, especially in terms of heat resistance and fire behavior.
