11. Applications

In France, there are 50 to 55 rotational molding companies active in different industrial fields :

• industrial subcontracting , especially for sanitation, with typical products such as storage tanks, containers, silos, cisterns, pits, grease traps, purification systems, manholes, machine casings, etc. ;

• sports and leisure with typical products such as canoes-kayaks, boats, rowing boats, pedal boats, windsurf boards, floats for maritime pontoons, stairs for swimming pools, etc. ;

• transport , especially automobiles, with products such as tanks (water, fuel, etc.), tool boxes, baby seats, bumpers, armrests, and even electric car bodies, etc. ;
