8.1 Multilayer parts
Currently, the rotational molding industry is increasingly developing multilayer parts made of different polymers to obtain finished products with improved and complementary properties, for example low permeability and improved mechanical properties.
The rotational molding process for a two-layer part begins with the introduction of the first polymer (polymer 1) into the mold (figure 27 ).
