2. Compression molding
Compression molding produces plastic or rubber parts by deforming and distributing the material between a die and a punch (mold and counter-mold) mounted on a vertical press.
The products obtained are very varied:
the body of small power line connectors ;
enclosures for electrical equipment ;
automotive body components and interior trim panels for large vehicle cabins.
Processed materials fall into two main categories:
