6.1 Anticipate changes in harmonized classification to stay ahead of your regulatory obligations

The information available on the ECHA website enables you to identify substances for which the adoption or modification of a harmonized classification is possible or probable, depending on the discussions. Certain classifications, in particular CMRs, can have a major regulatory impact, such as substitution in the workplace for proven CMRs. This information is therefore vital in preparing you to adapt your products and practices.
