6.1 Train your staff to wear PPE
The effectiveness of protection also depends on the conditions under which the PPE is used. Wearing personal protective equipment requires training for the personnel concerned. A respirator that is not correctly positioned, or hygiene conditions that are not respected, can render the use of personal protective equipment completely ineffective, or even dangerous (PPE contamination).
