2.1 Principles
The CWA-RBIM method described in this article focuses mainly on Risk Based Inspection (RBI), which can be defined as an analysis methodology requiring the assessment of the risk associated with a failure and/or a feared event. The primary aim of RBI is to maintain the mechanical integrity of different types of pressure equipment, in order to minimize the risk of loss of containment following degradation and/or damage.
