5. Master the obligations arising from a change of supplier
You have identified the obligations arising from the diversification of your suppliers. There are several steps you can take to ensure your compliance with REACh regulations:
For your new suppliers based in the EEA, you need to ensure that they have pre-registered the substance and wish to register it. This way, you won't risk a supply disruption.
You also need to make sure that your uses will be covered to avoid making a CSA.
For your new suppliers based outside the EEA, please identify those who have appointed an exclusive representative or who supply you with reimported substances.
