5. Master the obligations arising from a change of supplier

You have identified the obligations arising from the diversification of your suppliers. There are several steps you can take to ensure your compliance with REACh regulations:

  • For your new suppliers based in the EEA, you need to ensure that they have pre-registered the substance and wish to register it. This way, you won't risk a supply disruption.

  • You also need to make sure that your uses will be covered to avoid making a CSA.

  • For your new suppliers based outside the EEA, please identify those who have appointed an exclusive representative or who supply you with reimported substances. This will enable you to remove these imported quantities from the calculation of your annual imported tonnage. This calculation must be repeated each time you change suppliers based outside...
