6. Conclusion

Tools based on the MBSA methodology offer theoretical advantages such as enhanced communication with systems engineering through the use of a common model. In addition, as illustrated in this article, it is easy to switch from one model to another, which can save time compared with traditional methods.

The automatic calculations based on the AltaRica-coded models have been verified and are identical to those calculated by hand. They are immediate, which is encouraging from a performance point of view. Nevertheless, the slightest error in coding calls everything into question, requiring the user to carry out systematic checks to keep the system under control.
