4. Weighting methods
ToolA distinction must be made between methods whose aim is to weight leak frequencies (such as that presented in API 581 – cf. weighting factors proposed in API 581 (Tool Basic principle of the weighting methodology proposed in API 581 )) and methods or proposals presented which do not have this objective, but which highlight the influence of certain parameters on the frequency of leak occurrence (CODETI, UFIP blue guide, etc.).
