 INTRODUCTION

As we indicated in [SE 4 030] , implementation of the HAZOP method (Hazard and operability studies) requires the creation of a working group led by a facilitator, who is the guarantor of the method, and comprising a multidisciplinary team with in-depth knowledge of the plant described on detailed plans. It therefore requires the mobilization of a multi-disciplinary team over long periods, and the collection of numerous documents to model the installation [SE 4 031] .

In this third section, devoted to the implementation of the HAZOP method, we present the different components of the work team, after having drawn up a list of the various documents to be assembled. This is followed by a description of the various working meetings and the final documents to be produced. Finally, a short illustration of an application is given.

The bibliographical references are grouped together in the document sheet [Doc. SE 4 033] .
