3. Take stock of your products

On the basis of the inventory of articles placed on the market, a list should be drawn up of articles to be notified which contain one or more SVHC substances in excess of 0.1% by mass in relation to the total weight of the article.

In the case of a complex article made up of several sub-articles assembled together, the 0.1% threshold applies to each sub-article made up of homogeneous material (see order below).

"The Court holds that each of the articles incorporated as a component of a complex product falls within the scope of the notification and information obligations at issue, when they contain a substance of very high concern in a concentration exceeding 0.1% of their mass."
