Classified as hazardous

A product classified as hazardous is one which meets the criteria of the CLP Regulation and for which a hazard has been identified. The CLP classification criteria are detailed in the ECHA technical guide: "Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria".

Chemical product

Generic term for both substances and mixtures of chemical substances. This term has no regulatory definition, as regulations refer specifically to substances and mixtures.

Chemical element and its compounds in their natural state or obtained by a manufacturing process, including any additive necessary to preserve its stability and any impurity resulting from the process used, but excluding any solvent which can be separated without affecting the stability of the...
