6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Do not consider the EEA but only the EU to establish your non-imported substances

REACh regulations apply in the EEA.

As of 1 er June 2011, the EU has 27 member states, while the EEA comprises these 27 plus Ireland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Please note that Switzerland is not part of the EEA.
