3. Bioavailability in the body

Bioavailability is the ability of a substance to cross physiological barriers, enter the bloodstream, distribute itself throughout the body and come into contact with organs. It is used to define the internal dose of a chemical substance.

3.1 Distribution

After entering the body, the chemical is rapidly distributed to the organs. In general, the initial phase takes place in the bloodstream, while distribution to the organs is largely determined by the chemical's affinity for them.
