9. Management integrating human and cultural factors

The standard ISO 31000 :2018 involves taking into account cultural and human factors within the organization. This approach, while common sense, is not easy to identify in practice. It presupposes the use of a series of items to properly define the risk management system:

  • applicable industry regulations;

  • corporate culture, history and values ;

  • corporate policies (HR policy, CSR policy, supplier policy, etc.);
