3. Risk management integrated into organizational structures

The purpose of this section is to detail the organizational approach to risk management.

3.1 Setting up a risk management department: on which subjects?

First of all, we need to define the areas of intervention for risk management within the organization. The areas of intervention of risk management concern two types of process:

  • cross-functional risk management processes (risk mapping, coordinated incident handling, risk indicator management);

  • risk expertise processes (managing workplace safety, managing financial risks, managing business continuity and crisis management, managing insurance, managing subcontracting risk, etc.).
