John Moubray's RCM2-based maintenance method is a rigorous, structured approach based on adaptations of the fundamental principles of Nowlan and Heap's RCM. It is designed to be applied in all industrial sectors, and is widely used, with thousands of implementations to date. Its designer, John Moubray, uses definitions and vocabulary close to the day-to-day practices of those involved in maintenance.
