6.1 Don't be too theoretical!
ELV dismantling is a highly regulated activity, due to its impact on the environment. A good knowledge of waste regulations and the prefectoral decree for registration or authorization under the ICPE is a prerequisite for an exhaustive assessment of chemical risks. The wearing, storage and maintenance of PPE by employees must also be taken into account.
