Dependability is an integral part of a company's or organization's activity.

  • Before embarking on major analyses and/or time-consuming calculations, it is important to identify the action or decision to be taken by the organization, to which operational safety must contribute. In the short or long term, it is best to anticipate the need for risk analysis, as this can take a long time.

We have seen, for example, dimensioning choices, the organization of maintenance, the customer's need for assurances about the safety and availability of what we supply, the a priori evaluation of realistic production or after-sales costs...

This step is essential if we are to manage our SoTL activities as effectively as possible.
