3. What are the conditions for obtaining a waiver?

The conditions described below must be met in order to obtain an exemption.

Implementing a genuine occupational risk prevention approach involves :

• have assessed the risks associated with handling or exposure to hazardous chemical agents;

• to have put in place collective and individual preventive measures;

• to have informed young workers about the risks associated with the products and processes concerned;

• young people receive practical training in safety and their future profession;

• that they are supervised by competent people.
