3. Communicate information to upstream players in the supply chain

3.1 Update and redistribute product SDSs and mandatory information when SDSs are not required

The SDS or the mandatory information document of the products you supply, when the SDS is not required (see art. 32 of REACh), must be updated and reissued free of charge, without delay, to all recipients supplied in the previous 12 months in the following cases (art. 31.9 and 32.3 of REACh):

  • new information on substance hazards and risk control measures;

  • once an authorization has been granted or refused ;

  • once a restriction has been imposed.
