1. Context

To better protect our economy in the broadest sense of the term, the French government, in a circular issued by the Prime Minister on September 15, 2011 (no. 5554/SG) , sets out the nature and objectives of economic intelligence, as well as the government's main orientations in this area, under the responsibility of the Interministerial Delegation for Economic Intelligence, in order to protect France's knowledge and/or know-how and its economy.
