1. What data do you need to establish your obligations before a first remarketing?

You wish to produce or import a substance in quantities exceeding one tonne per year, after an interruption in activity or for the first time. The following information is required for substances on their own or in mixtures:

  • main identification numbers (e.g. CAS No., EC No. [ELINCS/EINECS/NLP], chemical and/or trade name);

  • if the substance has already been registered by your legal entity;

  • quantities per year since last registration (if relevant) and estimated quantities for next year ;

Based on this information, you can easily identify your REACh registration obligations.
