Angiosarcoma of the liver
Angiosarcoma is a cancer of the blood vessels and endothelial cells lining the hepatic sinusoids. It is a malignant cancer that can metastasize to muscle, liver, breast, spleen, heart, skin and occasionally bone.
Glucagon and insulin
Antagonistic pancreatic hormones that play an essential role in maintaining blood sugar levels: insulin lowers blood sugar and glucagon raises it.
Blood glucose
