5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't exonerate the producer from his responsibilities

As a producer of medical waste, you are responsible for a certain number of points, including, among others, filling limits for packaging, indicating the date on which the medical waste container was opened, checking that the service provider's driver checks the container before loading, filling in the BSDASRI correctly, and ensuring that the waste register is properly kept. Believing that all responsibility lies with the service provider is a mistake that may be revealed during an inspection.
