Protein Design

An approach that involves "designing" new protein sequences to define new functions or improve existing ones.

Protein Structure Initiative

A program aimed at solving high-throughput 3D protein structures by optimizing all stages, from the expression system to the establishment of the atomic structure.

Homologie; homology

Defines an evolutionary relationship between protein sequences, and thus hypothesizes a common ancestor between these sequences.

Protein folding in space.
