3. Unit processes for biogas purification

The issues raised and defined during the recovery of biogas require consideration of various interdependent aspects:

• the chemical composition of biogas;

• the concentration level of each species;

• the unit treatment processes used;

• the targeted applications.

These technical difficulties are easier to understand and control if they are broken down according to the chemical nature of the compounds for the purposes of unit processing.
