5.1 Cleaning for the mechanical industry

In France, CETIM has been interested in cleaning with dense CO ₂ under pressure since the 2010s. In 2012, supported by the CEA, an OEM manufacturer of dense pressurized CO ₂ machines emerged to invest in the replacement market for perchlorethylene in the mechanical industry: the company DFD SA.
