Real Driving Emissions (RDE)

Emissions under actual driving conditions, or emissions from a vehicle under normal operating conditions, measured using a dedicated procedure called RDE.

Facteur de conformité; Conformity factor (CF)

Non-dimensional factor defined as the ratio between an emission measured on the exhaust of a vehicle during an RDE test and the limit value of this emission imposed by the regulations in force.

It can be less than, equal to or greater than 1, indicating that in RDE conditions, the engine would emit less than, equal to or more than the regulatory values.
