15. Pre-emptying time. Pressure drop
Up to 1 or 10 Pa, as long as no outgassing occurs, the formula can be used:
with p 0 = 1.013 × 10 5 Pa.
The diagram in figure 13 shows the pre-evacuation time, from atmospheric pressure, of an enclosure of given volume pumped by a system with a known flow rate.
