4. Generalization of the analytical model

In this article, we have proposed a basic model for dealing with eccentric loading cases where part bending cannot be neglected. We have applied it to two very different situations: firstly, to the case of rigid parts with free ends, then to that of flexible, symmetrical parts joined by two bolts, where, when considering a half-part, because of the plane of symmetry the loading introduction section behaves like a perfect embedding. On the other hand, the study was limited to the case of assemblies of two identical parts of the same nature, or to the equivalent case of a flexurally deformable part assembled on a solid part considered to be non-deformable.

We propose to generalize this model to the case of an assembly of two parts of different thicknesses and materials, and then to establish a general expression to take into account the stiffness of the end connection...
