3. Main design constraints for mechatronic components

Component ranges are generally established for identical materials and the same constraints of use. The relationships induced by these design constraints will make it possible to link dimensions to the various characteristic parameters of the components. This paragraph describes these design constraints by physical domain, without focusing on any particular component.
