hydroforming; hydroforming

A deformation manufacturing process involving the plastic deformation of thin-walled parts (plates, tubes). The final shape of the part is determined by a mold called a die.

reliability-based optimization; Reliability Based Design Optimization (RBDO)

A method that combines optimization techniques and reliability calculations to take greater account of safety in the optimization concept.

response surface; Response Surface method (RSM)

A method designed to explore the relationships between the dependent and independent variables involved in an experiment.
