7.1 Appendix A: Main Pearson system solutions and alternative laws
This law takes into account all possible asymmetries between 0 and 1.8. In terms of flattening, it takes into account flattening between 1 and a maximum of 5.8. Physically, this means that the law is limited in its horizontal extension. Indeed, this law is theoretically defined within an interval.
