5. Polymorphism and modeling

The design cycle requires considerable degrees of freedom, particularly in the early phases of a project. As a result, it is difficult, if not impossible, to predict the models required for the design process. The development of a limited number of basic models, from which numerous situations can be constructed, leads to the concept of polymorphism [19] . The power of this approach lies essentially in the relevance of the basic breakdown. This choice reflects the state of the art in the field under consideration, and is not only an effective design aid, but also a tool for learning about the technologies and associated physical principles.
