4. Conclusion

The need to take account of uncertainties in material and geometric data has led us to develop stochastic finite element methods for structural dynamics. In this article, we study the dynamic behavior of structures with uncertain parameters. To this end, we used Monte-Carlo simulation, the perturbation method and the polynomial chaos projection method. Finally, we analyzed the dynamic behavior of a wind turbine gear system.
