2. Spindle design study

The first step is to study the design of the spindle drive and guide system defined by the overall drawing in document 1 (figure 15 , page 14). The data characterizing the spindle are as follows:

  • Rear bearing consisting of two angular contact ball bearings (B7020E.T.P4S.UL according to FAG), contact angle: α ≥ 25°.

  • Front bearing composed of three angular contact ball bearings (B7022E.T.P4S.UL according to FAG), contact angle: α ≥ 25°.

  • Pulley :

    • pitch diameter: D p ≥ 220 mm...
