10. Conclusion: industrialized virtual reality

CS WAVE opens the door to the application of new training technologies to the industrial field. Through CS WAVE and welding training, we can see the advent of new ways of learning, enabling the invisible to become more tangible, for a better grasp of the real working environment.

CS WAVE also demonstrates the importance of involving users very early on in the product design process. The maturity of virtual reality technologies now makes it possible to engage in more concrete dialogue with initiated users, thus avoiding the pitfalls associated with technology-driven design.

CS WAVE has now paved the way for new applications, often proposed by users themselves, who have discovered the welding training simulator and have no problem imagining the contribution of such technologies to their field.
