1. Mechanical production function

In the manufacturing industry, the mechanical production function is a major factor in determining the company's economic performance. The structure of an industrial company can be described schematically by the following organization chart (figure 1 ), which shows the main functions contributing to the operation of an industrial unit:

  • general management responsible for long-term planning, financial policies, personnel, marketing, etc. ;

  • the design office responsible for new product designs and detailed projects;

  • General manufacturing management, including production management (scheduling), maintenance, inventory and work-in-process management, and production preparation...
