1. Process principle

The manufacture of a pen body mold for high-pressure plastic injection molding is described in figure 1 .

In this process, a hard nickel (nickel-cobalt with 450 HV hardness) is electrolytically deposited without shrinkage on a mandrel (positive model) in a nickel sulfamate bath to which a hardening agent, cobalt sulfamate, is added.
