4. Photochemical priming

4.1 One-photon priming

Single-photon absorption of a photochemical initiator, used in "classical" stereolithography, follows Beer-Lambert's law. Locally, for a primer concentration c, the absorbed light intensity is proportional to the product c. 10 (–ε.c.x) where x is the distance in the cuvette from the light entry window, ε the molar or molecular extinction coefficient (figure 18 ).
